Scientific Sessions

The scientific sessions of Fossils X3 2027 will cover a broad range of topics related to fossil insects, amber and amber bio-inclusions, and fossil arthropods. The program will include plenary lectures, parallel thematic sessions, and dedicated poster sessions, providing participants with multiple formats for scientific exchange.

In addition to the main sessions, the congress will host meetings of the International Palaeoentomological Society (IPS) and the Editorial Board of Palaeoentomology. These meetings will offer opportunities to discuss current developments in the field and future directions for research.

The scientific program will follow the schedule outlined below:

• 22–23 April: Pre-conference field trip
• 23 April: Registration and Welcome Reception
• 24 April: Opening, Day 1 of lectures, and conference dinner
• 25 April: Day 2 of lectures
• 26 April: Mid-conference field trip
• 27 April: Day 3 of lectures
• 28 April: Closing of the meeting
